This is a political blog. Yes, another one. Yea - I’m sick of politics, too.. but it’s something I have an opinion about, just like every other blogger on the internet. I run another political blog somewhere in the blogosphere - it’s pretty popular, actually. It’s a group blog where we have multiple authors blogging about this, that or the other thing. I’ve owned and operated it for almost 5 years. Once, we even got a TON (sometimes very uncomfortable) attention from the mainstream media, during a time when blogs weren’t really getting media attention at all.

But that was then. This is now. I still own and operate the multi-author blog . . but it’s become something I don’t really like all that much anymore. It started out as a right-wing, conservative blog. VERY right wing conservative. Since I started that blog - my own political views and values have changed.. but the site didn’t change with me. It had kind of developed a life of its own and all of the authorship and readership there are so far right, I can’t even SEE the center line anymore. I’ll continue to own and operate the site because it is popular - and the authors and readers there keep it very active.

I developed PolCentre as a place for my own rantings that just don’t seem to belong on a right wing, conservative blog anymore. The name reflects my views more now, I guess - - being more of a centrist. An independant, and if I really must put a lablel on it - Libertarian would be the closest I could come.
